China - Homage to Chen Zhong
Chen Zhong, the last versatile instrumentalist, in repertoire of "Silks and Bamboos from South of the River", playing the xun, an ancient ocarina, the xiao, a vertical flute (accompanied on the zheng zither or by an ensemble) and the qin zither: deep, subtle sonorities of "distant clarity", music where taste is paramount.
