Marvin McMahon is a German/ British composer, songwriter and front man of band River Becomes Ocean. Apart from writing music for TV and Film, Marvin has composed music for national and international advertising campaigns and written with and for Sony Music Artists such as ‘Lukas Rieger’. He is currently doing the score for SKY’s documentary ‘Wirecard’.

Marvin grew up in Germany getting an early Music Education and playing in multiple Bands, he then decided to move to Brighton, England to study Music where he got a Diploma in Drums and a Bachelor of Arts at University of Sussex. He also studied Film Composition, Music Theory and Orchestration with Berklee College of Music. 

His band has established to make a name in their genre and signed a record deal with Department Music and Warner Musik in 2019. They worked together with bands such as Silverstein and Cancer Bats and had their Music Video in rotation on MTV and VH1, and radio plays on BBC Radio 1. They played sold out shows in the UK and Germany, and toured with bands such as Silverstein, Framing Hanley, The Rogers to name a few. 
Marvin has started writing for media in 2012 and has been working together with Cezame since the beginning of 2019.
