It’s winter again,
Seems nothing has changed.
Still stuck in these four walls I can count the days.
The faint light’s always shinning,
But it’s getting hard to see. It’s winter again,
I wish it’d shine on me.

I need an inspiration A different occupation
I need a reason for a change in my ways.
I crave a new tomorrow A picture of Picasso
I have to take a little energy.

It’d New Year again,
Better make my list.
I swear this’ll be my year,
You see I must insist.
The goal post’s always marching In a constant state of flux.
But I’m still stuck in these four walls You see I,
I don’t move too much.

I need an inspiration…

Just one look towards the next day I’ll see for sure
That everything moves on.
Take one more, one more step forward
And turn to see That what is done is done.

I have learned that I’ll be OK.
I have searched, and I’ve been OK.

Finding how to live without all the weary thoughts In this revolving door
So I’ll hold my brow Up where my dreams lead to greater things
And there will be much more.

Walking out, I never pictured this day would come
And it would feel this good
No more doubt, For I am going where few have stood,
But many wish they could.
