That's lost in time

Forgotten tale
Of kingdom old

On mountain peak

There was a king

Who ruled with might

On golden throne

People loved their

King and queen

They ruled with love

But not for long

Betrayal fell

Upon the king

On fields of gold

All that's left are

Weeds and thorns

Where light once shined

On a cold winter night

While the stars are shining bright

Everyone fell asleep
All but me
I cannot sleep

I'm thinking of my lovely bride

She is waiting back home

All alone

Fear is calling for me

But I'll look him in his face

Army is coming for me

My sword and my shield

Once again
Shall be raised

Battle awaits!

I made a promise to her

That my enemies will burn

And that she'll see me once more

Silent is the night
In my old town tonight

Everyone's asleep

While moon shines bright
